We had our extremely belated wedding reception at Poodle and loved it! Amazing service, super cool venue and high quality food and drinks without feeling pretentious. The food is fantastic and there's no risk of being underfed like at some weddings, all of our guests have told us how much they enjoyed the canapés (prawn cocktail was the crowd favorite). The upstairs space is perfect for an intimate gathering, we had around 45 people and it didn't feel to cramped or too empty, and there were plenty of spaces for quiet conversations or a good dance. Melinda was really helpful and accommodating in helping us plan the day, and our event coordinator on the night, Monet, was so friendly and attentive. Even though it was around 2.5 years late it was a beautiful night and we're so pleased we chose Poodle for it.
