March 2025

Tamara's was absolutely outstanding. We asked for an arrangement of primarily red and white, containing both Australian and Dutch flowers. She provided a stunning array of tulips, roses, kangaroo paw, carnations, and astilbe, among others. One of our requests was to reuse flowers from the church wedding to decorate the tables at the reception, to save on both waste and cost. Other florists told us this would not be possible. Tamara not only told us that it was, but on the day, after decorating the reception tables as planned and finding that there were still more flowers left, she designed an impromptu floral display across the windows behind the bridal table. It was this inspiration and intiative which turned a great setting into a perfect one (and this kind of work which turns a good florist into a great one). Her communication was very good (which was something we had trouble with with many florists while trying to get a quote) and she remained both friendly and professional at all times. She provided us with a design brief which she updated as we asked for changes, so we always knew exactly what the plan was and could see photos of every flower she proposed to include. I learned after the wedding day that Tamara had had a traffic incident on the day which delayed her arrival to set up. I was told by friends that when she arrived, someone asked if she was ok after the accident, to which she responded "I just want it to be perfect for them!" I wouldn't have faulted her if she'd needed a moment for herself, but - wow. It's clear she takes pride in her work and didn't want to let us down. Tamara, you put in a huge effort for us and your work was immaculate. Thank you. We couldn't recommend you more highly.
