My mother in law described Michael as the perfect level of entertaining, without stealing the limelight and I think she is right. Michael is a really tall, fun person to be around, but he also knows how to fit into the background to make the bride and groom stand out. We met with Michael the most of all of our wedding vendors, and he was really good at removing any stress. My husband and I initially met Michael at a wedding expo, we clicked but unfortunately he was already booked for our day. Rather than moving on like most people would, Michael then put in all this effort to help connect us with other celebrants. I am so glad we didn't book in with anyone else, as about a month later Michael gave us the good news that his wedding for our day had to be postponed due to a visa issue and we jumped at his availability. Michaels contacts in the wedding industry also helped me to find other vendors. I was having trouble even getting email replies from florists, and Michael directed me to the lady I ended up using. I am really grateful for his help throughout the process. Overall, Michael is a fantastic and well connected celebrant, but I really feel like he is our friend now too.

I am really happy with the bouquets, everything for my husband, bridal party, and I lasted throughout the long day. The only flowers that were wilted by end of the night were our parents buttonholes, but they were daisies so that is no surprise. I have been able to dry my and all of the bridesmaids bouquets and they still look as beautiful as on the day. I am really happy with the flower choices and greenery that were made. I didn't have any specific flower requests, but the bouquet was just perfect for me. My only issue was that the table decorations were smaller than I expected. They still looked really nice, and it didn't bother me, they were just smaller than intended. I think that for my price range, I was really lucky to find Jayne, and she delivered stunning flowers.

Missy was the perfect choice for my wedding day. My mother is a hairdresser, so I felt really overwhelmed trying to pick my first ever hairdresser for such an important event. I chose Missy based on her curls and I wasn't disappointed. All six updo's stayed in place the entire day, and I was so happy with my hair. I chose to try something unusual for myself at our trial, decided I needed to stick to a more normal look for myself, and Missy went along with it all. She made sure each of us was completely satisfied before she left, and she helped encourage me to discuss the issues I had with my makeup artist so that I was happier on the day. Missy has the experience needed to give you stress free wedding hair.

Oh my, Amanda is so talented. She was lovely to meet with prior to the day, and her knowledge in wedding photography really shows. She is a very calm presence, and knew exactly how to get the images needed. It took me over two hours to look through all the images we got, and weeks later I still can't narrow down my favourite ones to print. The images you see on her social media and website are what you get, and they were perfect. I also had a videographer, but looking through the images gives me a greater view of the entire day.

Such a stunning venue, I can't imagine wanting my wedding to be anywhere else. The Arboretum has a lot of information to fill out, but it is worth the work. I dealt with Kathleen and she is really approachable. I emailed her dozens of questions while I was preparing and she always got back to me quickly. It was beautiful on the day, all of the catering ran smoothly (AND WAS DELICIOUS), and the staff were really professional. I am absolutely satisfied that I had the best venue in Canberra. The only thing that annoyed me was that they tried to get me to pay to extend my drinks package earlier, and to pay $5 per person for coffee. I chose not to pay for these, and then they included them for free. They presented it like a gift, but it made me question if I had paid for other items that I would have gotten for free.
