What a picture perfect space Laura and Gav have created. We had our wedding their October 25th, the weather was perfect (a little cooler on the mountain than the rest of Brisbane, which was nice) the scenery was perfect, roses had started to bloom. We stayed 2 nights in the studio and had the ceremony and reception in the main space. We had a changeover from ceremony set up to reception set up while we were off on our photoshoot and the changeover was very easy, Elm House already has everything you need and will organise with you in advance, there’s a beautiful floor to ceiling velvet curtain to seperate the lounge area so you can have your tables pre-set the day before in the lounge area. The space already has beautiful vintage furniture, a fire place, a solid live edge coffee table, a vintage piano, vintage velvet sofas, all fitting the cosy intimate vibe of the venue. They have a list of amazing vendors who know the venue or you can choose your own and also DIY if you want full control. The studio also fits the same vibe with beautiful vintage furniture with everything you will need and a dark academia vibe. Any angle of the studio can be used for a couples photo shoot and looks like something out of magazine. The garden is another perfect backdrop for a photoshoot and they are also a few minutes away from the rainforest which we also utilised for our wedding photos. Laura and Gav were so helpful in the lead up to the wedding, they respond to any questions quickly, and made everything so easy. The price is great value especially considering you can stay there and set up the day before and don’t have to worry about pack up until the day after. The cost is available on their website you don’t have to jump through hoops or sign up to anything to find out what you will be paying for and there are no hidden fee’s. My husband and I could not be happier with our choice to have our wedding at Elm House <3
