A wedding on the water was our dream wedding, and the retreat at Wismeans allowed us to have this at a reasonable price! The swap of owners during the time between when we booked our wedding reception and the date of our actual wedding did not seem to create any major problems, besides that the previous owners promising we could set up our marque the night before, and communication was not made to tell us that there was actually a wedding the night before, meaning this was not possible. The retreat itself is absolutely beautiful and the Hawkesbury river makes the perfect back drop for photos! The marque was decorated beautifully and simply and breakfast the morning after was amazing!

Simone took the time to get to know my husband and I and create an intimate and unique ceremony just for us. She listened to our desires and took them all on board helping us to create our dream ceremony. On the big day our ceremony went perfectly, and i put this down to Simone's organisation along with our rehearsal. All of our guests commented on how personal our ceremony was and how it truly reflected us as a couple. We would highly recommend Simone to any bride and groom to be who would like a uniquely beautiful ceremony!

Our reception was exceptional thanks to First Choice DJs. The DJ and MC form mean the reception can go smoothly and be pre-planned for. They give you many options such as choosing your own music, letting them choose according to most guests age or taking request on the night. The MC aspect of our wedding was amazing to, James was interactive, funny and considerate of everyone attending. He was able to change the mood according to what was occurring throughout the night and asked questions if he wasn't sure about anything, instead of just guessing and getting it wrong. I would highly recommend First Choice DJs to any bride and groom to be who would like their night to be stress free and fun all while supporting small businesses.
