We wanted our guests to know that our wedding was all about having fun and enjoying the day in a spirited way. As such, we wanted the entrance song – and indeed all the music on the day – to reflect this idea. For our minds, no group or soloist could have fulfilled this brief as well as the Brisbane City Gospel Choir. Our entrance song, Oh Happy Day, was inspiring. The other songs, Joyful Joyful and Your Love Keeps Lifting Me Higher, were equally impressive. A particular delight was the trumpet solo during the musical interlude of the latter song. After the wedding, we received considerable praise from our guests for the Choir. We believe that the success of the Choir was down to their abilities and cohesion as a group (they were an absolute delight to watch practice and perform), but also their management. Tosin was always vigilant in responding to our requests and even arranged a time to practice the performance at the chapel several weeks before the big day. Words cannot possibly express our appreciation for the Choir’s work. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone wanting to make their special day all about having fun and enjoyable!
