Overall, we had a great experience with The Caddyman for our wedding car hire. The service on the day was fantastic — our driver was fun, professional, and made the whole experience really enjoyable. He even had cold beers and water ready for the boys when we met up with him, which was a great touch. The car we ended up with, The Pres, was in fantastic condition and looked amazing in our photos. Dealing with Clare and Wayne was also really easy throughout the process, and they were always quick to respond. The only downside was that two days before the wedding, we were told the car we had originally booked, The Dutchess — the white 7-seater Caddy — had an issue and wouldn’t be available. As you can imagine, that caused a bit of panic so close to the day, especially as we had chosen it because we thought it would suit our wedding photos perfectly. Wayne did everything he could to find us something similar, but because it was so last-minute, that wasn’t possible. Wayne also kindly offered us a private photoshoot with The Dutchess on another day, which we really appreciated. We decided not to take him up on it, as it would have been too much hassle to organise makeup again and get Sarah back into her dress after the wedding. Luckily, The Pres was available and ended up being a great replacement. All in all, it was a really good experience and we were happy with how everything turned out on the day. The only thing we would have appreciated was more notice about the cancellation so we had time to look for another option if needed.
