Where do we even begin? Five stars simply aren't enough to express how incredibly grateful we are to have had Helen Hendren as our wedding celebrant. She was, without a doubt, one of the best decisions we made for our special day, and we genuinely couldn't have imagined anyone more perfect to officiate our wedding. Our wedding was a little unconventional. We wanted a small, intimate ceremony surrounded by our closest friends, high up in the snow-covered mountains of Mt Hotham. It wasn't the easiest wedding to plan, especially with the unpredictability of alpine weather and the logistics of holding a ceremony up a mountain! But from the very beginning, Helen embraced our vision wholeheartedly and made us feel that nothing was too much trouble. Her warmth, enthusiasm, flexibility, and genuine dedication to making our dream a reality were truly remarkable. What made Helen so exceptional was how much heart and thought she poured into every little detail. She took the time to understand our story, our eleven years together, and why Mt Hotham held such a special place in our hearts. She then transformed what we initially envisioned as a simple legal ceremony into something so deeply personal, meaningful, and unforgettable. One of the most touching moments was when she surprised us with a beautiful poem she had personally written for us, "The Mountain Paths". Hearing those words, inspired by our love story and the mountains surrounding us, was incredibly special. It was such a thoughtful gesture and one of those moments we will treasure for the rest of our lives. And her thoughtfulness didn't stop at the ceremony! Helen even joined us for our intimate wedding dinner in Bright, where she had prepared another beautiful surprise: a personalised vow box for us to keep our handwritten vows, alongside heartfelt messages from our closest friends. She thoughtfully incorporated this into our celebration, creating a meaningful keepsake that we'll open as we prepare for our lives
