Kathy was able to provide beautiful bespoke fresh flower arrangements for our wedding at fairly late notice over the Christmas period! Kathy was flexible with my budget and was able to requote accordingly and negotiate about the flower arrangements. The arrangements Kathy provided were quite full and generous, she also provided urns/vases for them and some candles to complete the look! Kathy makes an effort to view the venue so that her arrangement can be tailored to it. Kathy also provided us some lovely unique flowers for hair decoration which she delivered to where we were staying along with the bouquets. She also provided a complimentary throwing bouquet. Kathy worked well with the colour scheme I envisioned of "flame colours" with orange, red and yellow flowers that tied together excellently. I received many compliments with regard to the flowers from the guests! I have no complaints at all and would highly recommend Dare to Picnic/Kathy to anyone having a wedding or other event!

Justin Crane was easy to work with and very flexible in supporting our vision for the ceremony, whilst ensuring we met all the legal requirements and that all the paperwork was completed properly. We chose to have Justin perform the minimum legal requirements while our MC, who knows us well, conducted most of the ceremony. We were grateful that this was an option, as I have heard many other celebrants take over and make the ceremony more theirs than yours, projecting their own views of what marriage should be. Justin is also very affordable compared to some of the competitors!

It was truly a magical day at this beautiful venue! It was lovely to have the whole venue to ourselves. Many guests commented that it was great to have the ceremony and reception in one place. There is ample close, and free parking. There are so many great places to take photos in the gardens at the venue with the waterfall, bridge, & gazebo! The air-conditioning was much appreciated as we got married in Summer and it was over 40C outside. The only complaints we had from guests were that the starters were served fairly late, special care/efficiency was not taken in the cutting & provision of the wedding cake, and some people did not like the barramundi main dish. If I had a function at this venue in future I might consider the venue hire option and source an independent cater, though I acknowledge that my standards are quite high and it is always difficult to get high quality food and beverage servers as well as to efficiently serve high quality mass produced food for such large events. I also acknowledge that the pricing of this venue is also much better than many competitors!
