We booked Carla and the Hypercater team for our cocktail-dress canapé-service home wedding for 180 guests. Carla was lovely to deal with from the outset, was patient with our many questions and changes, and really understood what we wanted. She worked with us to create a menu that was uniquely ours, which included using family ingredients. Although there were plenty of options to choose from on the menu, Carla was happy to add others or make adjustments to the ingredients to suit gluten-free requirements or just our preferences. She was very responsive to messages and met with us as often as we needed to ensure everything was perfect. And it was. I warned her at the outset that she was working with a Bridezilla and some kind of drama would be likely, but there was none. The food was delicious. Every dish met expectations. It was beautifully presented. It was professionally served. The quantities and pacing was something we left in Carla’s expert hands and there was no faulting her judgment. Guests who left early were well fed. The food was spread out and there were no complaints about having to find food, which sometimes happens at weddings. After almost 1 month since our wedding, we’ve only heard extremely positive feedback about the food (highlights were the lamb and the substantials at the end of the night). Would highly recommend Carla and her team and would hire again for our next event.
