Annette Blanch - Newcastle based. Annette is the most lovely, kind-hearted and warm woman! She was lovely from day one when my partner and I initially met with her. She had all the necessary documents and made it all seem very easy. We had a lot of contact leading up to the Big Day, and she was always helpful and accommodating. She emailed me an initial ceremony and allowed me to make any choices I needed. My partner and I wrote our own vows but she gave us a lot of guidance in terms of vows and ceremony content. At the ceremony, I actually felt very comfortable stood beside her as she's such a warm friendly person. She smiled throughout the whole ceremony yet conducted herself very professionally. She really really put me at ease and made my nerves disappear! We were also able to hire our chairs from her for the ceremony - this was very helpful! Thoroughly recommend Annette Blanch as a civil marriage celebrant.

We stayed at the Novotel - Newcastle - on our wedding night. We had a bottle of sparkly waiting for us in the room and a balloon. The staff at the Novotel are the most helpful and friendly hotel staff I have ever come across.

Yvonne did my make up for my Hen Do and I loved it. She is super kind and friendly and lovely to talk to. She also did my spray tan for my wedding - allowing me to have a trial before the Big Day. Spray tan was natural.

Hi Fiona and band, would like to say thank you so much for playing for us at our wedding last week in Newcastle. Fi was extremely helpful to work with prior to the Big Day and settled any nerves. We were able to provide a list of possible songs for the band to play during the disco and the band was extremely accommodating with our song choices for the specific events during the wedding - bridal procession, first dance, etc... we were extremely impressed with this as some of our choices were probably pretty unusual. The ceremony music was perfect and made it. The music at the reception was amazing and I literally spent the whole night dancing - as did a lot of our guests. We have received more comments about the band than any other aspect of our wedding! Everyone was thoroughly impressed with the band - their playlist, their ability to capture the mood of the room, their rapport with the crowd. They are extremely accomplished musicians! Many thanks again, Soule Arte, you completed our special day and we would definitely recommend you!

Top floor of the Beach Hotel, Merewether, was a superb venue for our wedding reception in December '15. Sara, from the Beaches, was fantastic leading up to our Big Day - she was super helpful and professional. She replied to us promptly and met with us when we wanted to discuss necessary organisation factors. On the day of the wedding, she set up the venue exactly to our instructions and with our own decorations, etc. The venue is so stunning that really we didn't need much in terms of decorations. The view is incredible - of Merewether beach and there is one large balcony for guests to hang out on plus a smaller 'chill out balcony'. There's two dance floors - one we used as the actual dance floor and the second one was used for the photo booth, tea and coffee and guest book signing etc. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all the guests. Package was excellent value. The service was great... It was the ideal venue for us and we had the best time! Would recommend the Beaches Hotel to anyone looking to get married in Newcastle.

We LOVED our kombi wedding car! Adrian was super helfpul to deal with prior to the day and very accommodating. Our driver, Scotty, was excellent at put me at ease - not rushing me at all! There was beer and champagne for after the ceremony. Thank you!
