As a place to get ready, the Sheraton was perfect. It was within walking distance of our venue (yes, I walked to my wedding!), and when they discovered I was there to prepare for our wedding they found a room with good natural light to help with the preparations. The service was impeccable and breakfast was great too! I highly recommend staying here!

What an amazing cake! Not just to look at - and it was beautiful - but also in terms of its flavours. We selected two cake flavours (butter cake with lemon curd buttercream and chocolate and vanilla butter cake with mocha butter cream) iced with dark and white chocolate ganache. The cakes were stunning to look at and exactly what we had hoped for, but more importantly, they tasted amazing. In fact, at the end of the night we asked a waiter to pack up the leftover slices for children of our guests, and the waiter said it was the first time ever that there were no leftover slices! Our guests were amazed by how tasty our cake was, and some lamented their own cakes which had not been as delicious or as beautiful. If you want a cake which tastes and looks amazing, One More Slice is for you!

I wanted a natural look - being someone who doesn't wear makeup - and Lana sure delivered. All too often I've seen brides who are made up to the extent that they don't look like themselves anymore, and I really didn't want that for my wedding. Instead, I found Lana and she made me look like the best version of myself, instead of looking in the mirror to see someone I didn't know. She also did an amazing job with my hair, managing to control my curls all night and yet maintain a natural look, which I didn't think was possible! The Australian Museum was an amazing place to get married. It was quirky and different, which was exactly what we were after, but also elegant and classy. We didn't need too many decorations because the museum displays we used (Wild Planet and The Long Gallery) were stunning enough without adding to them - we just used table centrepieces. Our food was also spectacular, as were the wines. The feedback we keep getting is that our wedding was the most memorable, spectacular and fun that many of our guests had ever attended. The only point for improvement I could give is that we did have several changes of wedding coordinator, for various reasons. If we could have had one coordinator throughout I would have said the experience was perfect! Both myself and my groom would definitely recommend getting married at the Australian Museum!

I can honestly and genuinely say that Robyn is amazing. From the first to the last, she was there for us at every turn. Every question and query was answered promptly and knowledgeably. Robyn was caring, fun, funny, knowledgeable, professional and 100% supportive of our off beat, different wedding - she was even the one to reassure me that a black wedding dress was a good choice! She didn't bat an eyelid at any of our decisions, helped make some of our ideas a reality and made our day absolutely perfect. We kept hearing from our guests that Robyn was the best celebrant they had ever encountered, and it was wonderful to hear our guests laughing with us, crying with us, and really taking part with us in our day - and Robyn made it happen. Our ceremony was personal and perfect - which sums Robyn up to a tea!
