We stayed at this beautiful property for our wedding getaway and were so grateful to have our elopement approved to be held there. The setting on rolling hills was stunning, with breathtaking sunset views. Each day we saw kangaroos, and the kids loved visiting the chickens and rescue ponies on the property. As you enter and come up the drive, it feels like you’ve driven into a European forest which provided a sense of nostalgia and familiarity for my husband. The house was clean, well appointed, and thoughtfully decorated, with a gorgeous blend of native Indian inspired décor meets Palm Springs style. The layout worked perfectly for our family, and everything felt homely, private, and peaceful. The pool was a highlight, we enjoyed it every day. The complimentary local welcome gifts were a lovely touch, and communication with Kanimbla Retreats was excellent. It was the perfect setting for our wedding and photos, and we would love to return.

We were so lucky to have Rob play at our wedding elopement, especially after booking him just two weeks out when our original musician cancelled. He was very communicative beforehand to discuss our style and plans, and his talent on the day was incredible- even our other suppliers were in awe of his music! He played throughout our ceremony, canapés, and dinner, creating a beautiful atmosphere. He was also friendly and patient, even with our kids happily hovering around him. We’re so grateful he was available for us and couldn’t recommend him more highly- an amazing musician and a genuinely nice guy.
