When we first began searching for our wedding venue, we knew we wanted a place that could host everything from our ceremony and reception to on-site accommodation and catering all in one seamless setting. The moment we stepped foot onto Al-Ru Farm, we instantly fell in love. It wasn’t just a venue; it was the ultimate backdrop for our happily ever after. We were deeply moved by Alan and Ruth’s love story, and we felt so fortunate to meet Ruth on our very first visit. Learning of her subsequent passing broke our hearts, but it made having our wedding among the stunning, living gardens she lovingly created feel like an incredible honor and a privilege we will treasure forever. From day one, the team at Al-Ru delivered beyond anything we could have imagined. Our wedding was the most magical day of our entire lives, it completely exceeding every expectation. The sun shone bright, the atmosphere was enchanting, and every single staff member went above and beyond to ensure everything ran effortlessly. Our guests have not stopped raving about it, with so many telling us it was the most beautiful venue they had ever experienced. Having clear, stress-free "Option B" alternatives in place gave me absolute peace of mind leading up to the day even though the weather was perfection, knowing we were in such capable hands made all the difference. One of the most touching highlights of our time at Al-Ru was having the privilege of sitting down with Alan. Listening to him share stories of his life with Ruth, the history of the farm, and his heartfelt wisdom and advice for a long, happy marriage is something I will carry in my heart for a lifetime. Al-Ru Farm is so much more than a wedding venue; it is a family-built sanctuary filled with heart, soul, and pure magic. I knew exactly where and who I needed to go to when it was finally "my time". I came into the store, quite anxious and unsure of what would even look good on me, would there be dresses to fit me, being a plus size bride i felt completely out of my depth! I did not know what would look good, I had no idea what I was looking for. Well.... within 40 minutes I had tried on 5 dresses with 2 stand-out favourites, I felt comfortable and listened too. You made it so so easy! I couldn't believe i walked in without knowing what to expect & what I even wanted, and walked out with my meant to be, perfect fit dress..... She completely lifted the stress off our shoulders, taking the time to really listen and get to know us not just as a couple, but as a family. She made us feel so valued and understood, and that made all the difference in the world. ​Having Peggy marry us was an absolute honour. Our wedding day was nothing short of a dream so beautiful and truly perfect in every single way. So many of our guests came up to us throughout the day to comment on how incredible she was! In the Booth was such a absolute hit at our wedding at Al-Ru Farm over the weekend! They were so professional, friendly, and our guests had an amazing time using it. I love that we can access all of the photos and videos online. it's so cool to look back on those moments! The guest book turned out absolutely beautiful, too. The hiring process was effortless, and having the option of a payment plan leading up to the event was a huge help. If you're thinking about getting a photo booth for your wedding or event, don't hesitate! Honestly, it was such a big, fun part of our day, and we now have memories to last a lifetime.
