AVOID!! Not worth the disappointment!! We had loved this venue, had been there loads of times, but we were terribly let down. About 2 weeks before the day we were told that there was going to be a festival in the domain and the venue would be surrounded by thick, high fencing. We questioned why we had not been told so and were told that it was in our contract that at short notice this could happen. The green views and sunset was completely blocked. But then it got worse! There was some kind issue with the A/C and the room was stifling. All our guests sat outside looking at the fencing because inside was so hot. The night was pretty much ruined, no big dancefloor, everyone was sweating and uncomfortable. We raised this with Terrace and were given a very small refund, but not even the full venue fee.
