Our wedding guests were full of praise for our choice of a 5-piece band from Cruse Entertainment for our wedding entertainment. They nailed a wide range of music, perfectly setting the mood for every part of our wedding reception from a relaxed jazzy evening into a late-night party on the dance floor. Marly was also a fantastic MC, getting the guests organised with smiles on their faces. The band were professional, but more importantly, fun, which complimented our personalities and gave us a wedding reception to remember.

Tammy made the bouquets, buttonholes, corsages, necklaces and cake decorations for our wedding. We only had a vague idea of the sort of look we wanted and she was able to turn those ideas into beautiful pieces that we were incredibly happy with. We modified our order a few times leading up to the wedding which she dealt with easily. We can’t recommend her enough for giving our wedding the personality we were after. Bonus: We get to replant all the succulents so we will always have a reminder of our wedding day whenever we walk through our garden!

We had to check out Al-Ru Farm when three people recommended them independently as a wedding venue. The venue has so much personality which gave our wedding day a uniqueness that more commercial venues can’t match. The gardens were spectacular, which attracted plenty of praise from our guests. Ruth was always great to chat with during the many times we swung past in the months leading up to the wedding, and Mardi was awesome, especially when it came to organising the menu options for our cocktail-style wedding. They were also super flexible when it came to decorating the Barn and Hayshed, giving us the freedom to create our own unique look and feel. The cherry on top was the International Suite, which was perfect for the girls to get ready in in the morning as well as us relaxing after our long day and night of partying! Thank you!
