House of Lou Lou had the most beautiful centrepieces for a reasonable prices. Emma was a pleasure to deal with, always kept me in the loop and it was great to support a local business. Highly recommended!

By far THE best wedding band in Brisbane. We had so many of our guests tell us (sometimes more than once) how fantastic our band was. They are so flexible with their music and willing to learn songs for your special day. You don't have to worry about music on the night because Benjam are able to read the crowd and know when to play loud, and when to play soft and when (and how!) to get people up and dancing. I can't recommend them enough. My only tip is to be sure to get in and book them asap.

We were so thrilled that we chose the Brisbane Club for our wedding venue. They had delicious food, attentive staff, spectacular dining room and numerous nooks around the club that provided backdrops for great photos. Ylana Baxter, the events manager, was exceptional to deal with. She was like a ninja! Everything was done and we didn't have to worry about a thing. Ylana herself was recently married so was able to draw from personal experience on how to make a reception run smoothly and how to make a bride feel comfortable. Ylana also went out of her way several times - for instance, our photographer said "brandy glasses would look awesome in this shot" and Ylana overheard and immediately went off without being asked and got some for us. I also spilled a few drops of wine on my dress (white wine thankfully!) and Ylana was there immediately helping me spot clean it out - she's just one of those unique personalities who genuinely cares.

One of the highlights of our day was the car! In fact, my dad was so besotted with the car I had to drag him away from admiring it so he could walk me down the aisle. Our driver was friendly, funny and very accommodating. If you have a bridal party of 6 or less, I'd highly recommend the dodge! Fancier than a limo and half the price!!

The biggest tip I can give Brides is to wear comfortable shoes. Head straight to SUNA at Paddington who have the best range of (comfortable) wedding shoes (heels as well as flats!) My heels were so comfortable I forgot I was wearing them.
