We couldn’t be happier with our wedding photography experience! From the very start, our photographer, Chen, was incredibly professional, easy to work with, and made us feel completely at ease both during the planning and on the big day. They had an amazing eye for detail and captured every special moment — from the big emotional highlights to the candid, in-between glances and laughter. My Family have used Splendid in the past for christenings and other wedding photography, and we are really happy with their work! They are Fantastic! What also stood out was how relaxed and natural they made the whole process feel. Neither of us are overly comfortable in front of a camera, but their calm guidance and friendly energy helped us enjoy every second. They were also great with our family and guests — professional but never intrusive.

We recently held our wedding at Rydges Resort Hunter Valley, and the overall experience was truly memorable. The venue itself is absolutely stunning — set among picturesque vineyards and rolling hills, it offered the perfect backdrop for our special day. A standout part of our experience was working with Madi, our wedding coordinator. From the very beginning, Madi was nothing short of amazing. She was incredibly helpful, organized, and always available to assist with our planning needs, no matter how big or small. Her warm, calm presence and attention to detail made the lead-up to the day so much smoother and more enjoyable. We genuinely can’t thank her enough for all she did — she was a key reason everything came together so well. That said, we did feel that the food on the day didn’t quite live up to expectations. While it was serviceable, it lacked the quality and flavour we had hoped for, especially considering the resort's otherwise high standards. It certainly wasn’t a deal-breaker, but it's worth noting for couples who consider food a key part of their celebration. All in all, Rydges is a fantastic wedding venue with top-notch service, beautiful grounds, and an incredible team. With a few improvements in the catering department, it would be near perfect.

She took the time to really get to know us as a couple, and crafted a ceremony that truly reflected our story, values, and personalities. Her delivery on the day was heartfelt and natural — striking the perfect balance between sincerity, warmth, and a touch of humour. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful and engaging the ceremony was, and that’s all thanks to Cheryl. She also made the entire legal and planning process incredibly easy. Cheryl was well-organized, always quick to respond to questions, and ensured we felt supported every step of the way. If you're looking for a celebrant who is not only experienced but genuinely passionate about what she does, Cheryl is the one. We feel so lucky to have had her as part of our special day.
