I came to Joy with a pretty tall order. My wedding bouquet was about 2 years old when I reached out. It had dried to a crisp and began dropping berries - toxic for the family pets! As well as collecting dust and cobwebs. Joy’s work stood out in my preservation searching because she was not just doing shadow boxes - also beautiful bespoke frames with the soldered edges. So I sent Joy an enquiry about the situation and she was ready to give it a try! The process was well-explained and straightforward; she asked for my preferences and exceeded my expectations for saving this bouquet. I certainly do not recommend waiting two years after your wedding to reach out to Joy about your flowers! But she can do amazing work with a bouquet!! As well as being talented she was great to meet with and chat to - great to see someone making art that they are proud of to help brides and grooms cherish their special day 💜

Planning weddings are time consuming you feel like you have a second job! That is exactly why you need Taryn!! Around five months into wedding planning I was overwhelmed how do I choose suppliers and vendors? How do I find the right people offering what I need? and how do you set it all up on the day! I reached out to Taryn and I am so incredibly glad that I did! Taryn came in and even though she was dropped in the middle of the planning process she was quick to get together options that I needed for that stage. Taryn was assuring I was not as behind as I thought I was and she made everything seem doable. When you work full time Taryn is a godsend! She taught me so much about weddings and every vendor she found and we confirmed was exceptional!! I am so grateful!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Brisbane Powerhouse and the Wine & Dine’m crew they have gone above and beyond for the past nine months to make sure I had the best day ever and I absolutely did!! Katelyn took excellent care of us, she proved Powerhouse was our dream venue from the first tour. She walked me through the planning process and her organisation and google sheet helped me stay calm and organised in the final months. Her advice was unmatched. The Wine & Dine’m team provide food like nothing I have ever had before; even our pickiest guests were blown away by how good everything was. The only downside of alternate drop was that I wished I could sample everything!! The staff from the W&D team were fun professional and courteous beyond measure. Everyone involved in our wedding day you are the best of the best!!!
