We didn't just have a wedding day, we had a wedding weekend! The Cubana Resort accommodated all of our guests on site so we were able to mingle by the pool for Friday night drinks, get ready with our friends and family on the day and debrief over a hot recovery breakfast on Sunday. Our guests were always entertained; utilising the facilities such as the pool, sauna, bikes and kayaks to create a vacation atmosphere. The decor of the venue was absolutely unique and vibrant so that we didn't need to do much styling. The beautiful garden setting had everything we needed for a picturesque ceremony and the Havana decor in the restaurant popped with colour for our dinner and dancefloor. Post ceremony, we were provided with a stunningly large charcuterie board in the garden, along with lawn games in the sun for the guests to enjoy whilst we had our photos taken around the site. We opted for a seasonal sit-down meal in the restaurant which we had the pleasure of tasting and with the chef prior to our wedding day. Our favourites were the truffle gnocchi and barramundi yellow curry! Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better venue to host our wedding weekend!
