My partner Rod and I recently got married. We chose Rydges at North Hobart for our event. What an incredible experience we had! We chose one of their wedding packages, which meant the venue, catering, drinks, staff were all taken care of and at a really good price. Brett (General Manager) and Sabrina (Event Coordinator) were just fantastic. We had several meetings leading up to it and we were kept up to date on everything the whole way. They even gave a special room rate to the many interstate visitors we had staying there. On the day, it ran like clockwork and a special shout out to the kitchen, the food was fantastic. Everyone was very taken with how wonderful the rooms are, how beautiful the venue is and how grand it all looked and I completely agree. All the staff are so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Not to mention the awesome Presidential Suite we got to stay in. I honestly can not recommend this place highly enough.

Jonathan was a delight to work with. After seeing his beautiful work online, we knew we wanted him as our photographer. He met with us a couple of times and gave us some great ideas on how to get group and individual photos done through the day, and honestly, I'm so glad he had that under control. On the day, Jonathan was calm, easy going and really gave it his all. He truly is an artist and I'm delighted he was such a big part of our day. Rod and David Hobart
