When my wife and I were looking for a venue for our wedding reception, VeeLyn stumbled on Matteos Restaurant through Urban Spoon and we made a test run booking. We were really taken by the quality of food where texture and taste were balanced beautifully. When we tried their degustation menu I was absolutely stunned by how their wine selection had completely complemented each dish and eating became a journey to experience rather than just a meal to eat. We were confident that Matteos was where we wanted to have our reception but we had doubts about the reception area venue layout and how we were going to fit our 100 guests. The Matteos team made it work on the day plus more and I can say with my hand on my heart that the evening was everything we could have wished for. Nothing was too much trouble and in instances where there was the occasional breakage the matter was addressed in an instant with no trouble to us. We quite literally didn’t need to worry about a thing. We have booked our first wedding anniversary celebration meal at Matteo's and look forward to doing it all again.
