The venue itself is an amazing classic space in the heart of St Kilda. We liked it for its warmth, vintage feel but still contemporary and modern - it was just very “us”. I do feel as though our wedding was understaffed by the caterer and some mistakes made with the run sheet, however this would be rectified with a planner/stylist on board. We still loved our day and it was just perfect at sunset with that glow pouring in the windows.

Eva Green Baking was amazing to deal with from start to finish. I already had a pretty good idea of what I wanted - I work in the wedding industry so I’ve seen a lot of cakes. I wanted a modern three tier cake with ruffles that felt Parisian and this was no problem for Eva. We chose a vegan wedding cake because while we are former vegans a lot of our family and friends are vegan and I wanted to have that inclusion where everyone could enjoy our wedding cake (as a symbol of us). We did a sample box to try 4 flavours prior which worked out well. The cake on the day was so moist and just what I had pictured - she even added pearls last minute. Eva is now doing my 30th birthday cake and probably my kids cakes forever. Big love for this company!
