Sarah and Dylan’s magical outdoor wedding at Tuckerberry Hill
Last June 28, 2025, Tuckerberry Hill caught a glimpse of the magnetic love between Sarah and Dylan.
The couple met on a night out in Geelong six years ago and quickly bonded over their shared love of travel and the outdoors, even taking a trip to Mexico just weeks after meeting. Dylan later proposed at Teddy’s Lookout in Lorne after a burrito on the beach, and in June 2025, the couple tied the knot in a relaxed winter celebration surrounded by family and friends. From the outset, they knew they wanted an outdoor wedding that felt personal, colourful, and effortless.
That vision led them to Tuckerberry Hill, a picturesque venue just outside Geelong that stood out for its natural beauty, flexibility, and exceptional value.

Beneath the towering sheoaks, surrounded by lush greenery that created a warm, secluded atmosphere, they tied the knot. “It just felt mystical and magical, the perfect setting for us to tie the knot,” Sarah says. The ceremony was styled simply and romantically, with white cross-back chairs lining the aisle, pastel ribbons and baby’s breath adding soft colour, and a jute rug leading the way.
A cocktail-style reception followed, where guests enjoyed drinks from the outdoor bar, grazing inside, and roaming pizzas served by Peter’s Pizza throughout the evening. As night fell, heaters, an outdoor fire, and fairy lights transformed the space into a cosy winter setting.
Formalities were kept to a minimum, completing their first dance early and allowing the rest of the evening to unfold naturally. From getting ready on-site to capturing photos across the property, the venue played a central role in shaping a celebration that felt warm, unforced, and unmistakably theirs.
