Terryn & Matt’s chic coastal celebration at Villa Vedas

When planning a destination celebration in Bali, balancing breathtaking ocean views with an intimate atmosphere is everything. For Terryn and Matt, Villa Vedas provided the ultimate backdrop for a day centred on connection, effortless style, and meaningful family traditions.

Many couples we see opt for an official bridal party, but Terryn and Matt chose to forego standard party roles entirely. Instead, they focused their wedding structure around their closest family members and loved ones, creating an intimate, relaxed flow from start to finish.

The ceremony opened with the couple’s two young page boys leading the way down the aisle. In a deeply personal touch, Terryn walked halfway down the aisle with her stepdad before changing over to walk the remaining distance with her dad. Surrounded by sweeping ocean vistas, lush greenery, and neutral floral arrangements styled by Flora Botanica, the couple exchanged vows with celebrant Witarmin Lomo.

As the sun began to drop along the coastline, guests gathered for an elevated cocktail style reception featuring live satay and wok stations, signature margaritas, and custom favours. Bali Event Hire set the scene with modern, minimalist outdoor furniture that complemented the villa’s striking architecture.

The atmosphere shifted seamlessly into celebration mode following heartfelt speeches from family and friends. As Terryn and Matt wrapped up their couple’s speech, custom fireworks by Baloon Bunga lit up the night sky to Coldplay’s A Sky Full of Stars. DJ Wayne Wonder immediately opened the dancefloor, keeping guests celebrating under the stars late into the evening.
