Time and time again we are reminded love is most often found in the workplace.
Mining couple Stacey Princen, 27, and Cody Chester, 25, met while working for the same company and after becoming an item headed to Kalgoorlie chasing work. “The opportunity was too good to pass up so we both up-rooted and moved out to the mining town in 2012,” says Stacey.
They couple got engaged on a trip back to Perth and it wasn’t long until they were planning their romantic rustic wedding for November 1, 2014. “On our wedding day, I was nervous and overwhelmed – on the inside – and I am told Cody was doing fine, until he was picked up by the limo,” smiles Stacey. “I’ll never forget the look on Cody’s face as my dad walked me down the aisle.”
Their wedding location of Darlington Estate Winery in Western Australia was a homely feel for the couple. “Cody grew up on a farm and I grew up in the hills East of Perth, very close to the place we were married,” explains Stacey. “Rustic and country romance is us in a nutshell and we heard all night how much everything suited us.”

Ninety guests joined the couple for their Western Australian wedding.
Shannon Stent really captured the essence of the day.
“After the ceremony and signing we had a few quick family snaps and jumped back in the limo for more photos at John Forrest National Park,” says Stacey.
“We honeymooned in Fiji which was absolutely breathtaking,” says Stacey.
