The gorgeous Adelaide Hills were the perfect setting for Sheree Schilds and Scott Hollingworth’s rustic garden wedding.
The laid-back Adelaide pair wanted a day that reflected their personalities and the heritage-listed property Glen Ewin Estate was the perfect choice.
“They bent over backwards through the planning and on the day,” Sheree, 29, says, of the estate’s staff.
She and Scott, 26, wed on April 2, 2014 in front of 138 friends and family.
The lakeside setting provided a romantic backdrop to the wedding vows, with classic white chairs and an aisle strewn with rose petals adding to the charm.
Celebrations continued at the Pulpshed, a large rustic venue that perfectly captured the look the bride was after.
Sheree had been busy selecting decorations for the venue, such as the classic Country Road candle holders, and her dad created a vintage-look love sign.
Sheree says one thing she would recommend to future brides is to hire a videographer.
“We love our video,” she says.
“I can watch it over and over again and still see new little things that have been captured that I didn’t see the last time. He [Joby from Big Day Videography] made the whole bridal party feel at easy and made us laugh and relaxed about the camera.”
