Sabina and Hannes’ elegant resort wedding at Veranda High Resort Chiang Mai

When Sabina and Hannes set out to plan their intimate destination celebration, they chose the serene, lush landscape of northern Thailand. Nestled high in the hills, Veranda High Resort Chiang Mai offered a natural backdrop that required minimal additional styling, making an organic, understated aesthetic the main highlight of the day.

The couple embraced a minimalist design motif, letting the lush mountain scenery take centre stage. Ivory petals lined the aisle while crisp white blooms topped a sleek wooden ceremony arch, framed perfectly by the resort’s infinity pool overlooking the valley.

The ceremony was led by Sabina’s brother, Ramzie, adding a personal, relaxed energy to the nuptials. Sabina walked down the aisle to a cello rendition of Unchained Melody, wearing a fitted silhouette with clean lines, while Hannes matched the relaxed luxury tone in a classic blue suit.

Following the vows, guests gathered for drinks beside the pool as twilight set in over the valley. The evening transitioned into a U-shaped outdoor dinner setup. Soft candlelight, simple vase arrangements, and thoughtful personalised luggage tags at each place setting completed the refined, intimate atmosphere.
