Room for one more: Schae and Patrick’s romantic garden wedding

For Schae and Patrick, the arrival of their baby girl two months before the wedding made it even more special.

“My husband walked down the aisle with my mother-in-law on his right arm and our daughter in his left,” recalls the bride, 27.

“This was the introduction before I proceeded down the aisle with my closest ladies.”

Schae and Patrick, 29, tied the knot on May 20, 2018. Close friends and family witnessed the union in a chapel, on the grounds of Maleny Manor.

The groom’s grandmother and grandfather were there in spirit, with two red poppies placed on the couple’s wedding cake to pay tribute to them.

“Poppies were chosen as Patrick’s grandfather was a war hero,” explains the bride.

“We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day!”
