Porsche & Marwin’s intimate tropical celebration at Koro Sun Resort Fiji

Many couples we see struggle to find the sweet spot between an intimate, meaningful ceremony and a genuinely unforgettable party. Porsche and Marwin nailed both without compromise. Bringing just 13 of their favourite people to the lush shores of Savusavu, they turned an intimate micro wedding into a magnificent tropical celebration at Koro Sun Resort Fiji.

The day centred around the venue’s serene waterfront views and rainforest backdrops. Porsche prepared in the resort’s Edgewater Pool Bure while Marwin got ready nearby. Local stylist and beauty artist Lodoviko was on hand for hair and makeup, keeping the look fresh, polished, and effortless against the Fijian heat.
When 4:30pm arrived, guests gathered along the water’s edge for a warm, heartfelt ceremony. Framing the moment was a flower arch provided by the venue, creating a beautiful focal point against the ocean view. Porsche walked down the aisle with her father to Lana Del Rey’s Young and Beautiful, performed by DH Orchestra, before the couple exchanged their own handwritten vows. Following the ceremony, guests showered the newlyweds in fresh petals before settling in for sunset cocktails and relaxed canapés by the water.
What made Porsche and Marwin’s day so special was how seamlessly they blended traditional elements with pure fun. Every detail felt intentionally chosen for their inner circle, from the long-table dining setup with personalised place cards to the three-course plated dinner featuring local Pacific flavours.
Capturing every moment from the getting-ready details through to the final farewell was Videoticz, who documented the warm, relaxed atmosphere as daylight faded into evening.
Rather than sticking strictly to quiet background tunes for an intimate crowd, the couple brought serious energy to their reception. After cutting their cake on entry to Disclosure and Sam Smith’s Latch, they surprised their guests with a first dance mash-up blending Don’t Leave, Moment for Life, and Get Busy.
The night peaked at 9pm when a private fireworks display illuminated the night sky over the patio, leaving their 13 guests cheering before an archway exit wrapped up the evening.
The Easy Weddings experience
Planning a destination wedding from afar can feel overwhelming, but Porsche and Marwin made the most of a streamlined process. Working alongside local coordination partner Coconut Crab Wonderz (Leilani) to handle legal requirements and relying on Easy Weddings’ trusted destination network, the couple were able to focus on what mattered most: creating a seamless, stress-free experience for themselves and their guests.
This intimate celebration was beautifully captured by Videoticz.
