Kristy and Mark create stress-free vintage wedding

Kristy Caldwell and Mark Leinen were keen on keeping their big day stress free without sacrificing on their dream wedding.

Kristy, 26, says she and Mark, 30, were able to pull it off thanks to superb suppliers and a firm vision for their vintage wedding celebrations.

“We were able to have the wedding of our dreams with the most amazing wedding team, and within our budget,” she says.

“It was exactly what we wanted and a stress-free experience.”

The couple wed on a deck overlooking the ocean at Novotel Northbeach Wollongong on October 8, 2016 in front of 115 family and friends.

The celebrations continued at the same venue which, thanks to the couple’s careful eye, had been styled with rustic pieces, classic blooms and a vintage-style wedding cake, while a cracking DJ took charge of the dancefloor.

“I still have everyone telling me it was the best wedding they have ever been to,” Kristy says.

“It was amazing and I would do it all again in a heartbeat.”

Kristy found her gorgeous strapless gown at Heavenly Collections and teamed it with jewellery from Fletcher & Grace.

Kristy could not speak highly enough of the many suppliers who helped make her big day perfect, including White Label Hire, which created the floral arrangements and venue decor.

Trending blue suits were a colour of choice for Mark and his groomsmen.

“The reception was beautiful! I was able to tell my wedding planner how I wanted everything set up and it was done exactly how I wanted,” Kristy says.
