A sun-drenched celebration at Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa: Grace and Simon’s destination day

When Grace and Simon set out to plan their wedding, they wanted a celebration that felt entirely relaxed, beautifully detailed, and blissfully free of stress. Bringing 49 of their closest friends and family together in the tropics, the couple hosted an unforgettable day set against the palm-fringed coast of Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa. 

 

Rather than over-styling a naturally stunning setting, Grace and Simon embraced a clean, organic aesthetic that let the ocean backdrop take centre stage. Lush tropical greenery, crisp white orchids, and soft neutral draping framed their open-air ceremony on the Northwest Lawn. Grace wore a sleek, high-neck ivory gown with a dramatic open back, holding a tight bouquet of white frangipanis and orchids. Simon and his groomsmen kept things effortless yet sharp in tailored beige vests and relaxed linen shorts, perfectly suited to the Fijian breeze. Every detail balanced tropical ease with sophisticated styling.

After exchanging vows right by the sand, guests gathered along the Northwest Beachfront for sunset cocktails before transitioning to an intimate outdoor reception beneath fairy-lit palm trees. From heartfelt speeches to late-night dancing, the evening flowed effortlessly, proving that a destination wedding can be every bit as seamless as it is spectacular.
