Elegant white wedding to Nathan a labour of love for creative bride Tara

It was a case of actions speak louder than words when bride Tara took to planning her elegant white wedding to Nathan.

The creative bride of Floralgami delicately put together all the decor herself. From the paper arch and the flower wall, to the hanging installation and the wedding favours, Tara ensured everything was designed and styled to perfection. Even the invitations and wedding gown were painstakingly designed by the bride.

“All the lavish details were an underlying message,” Tara says. “A true indication of the effort I will go through for my husband and my loved ones.”

The Melbourne pair, now 33, first met when Nate contacted Tara for property advice. His interest soon shifted however, from property to Tara herself.

“After further persistence, I finally decided to give in to his charm. He turned out to be everything I never knew I always wanted.”

On March 4, 2017 Tara and Nathan wed before 320 guests at Aerial South Wharf, Victoria.

Despite her efforts and a detailed run sheet, Tara says, as with any wedding, minor things were accidentally missed. “But No one knew anything was missing because these were little things that only ‘Little Mrs Organised’ me would notice.”

Tara says it helped that cool, calm and collected Nate was her support system throughout the sometimes overwhelming day.

“We’re so glad it all came together.”

Tara’s gorgeous corset style champagne wedding gown interestingly featured origami-like lace appliqué.

Exotic Limo provided the luxury white stretch Hummer for the day.

Tara and Nathan’s stunning black and white floral arch and hanging installation was created by the bride herself with paper and silk flowers from her Floralgami business.

Clarte Photography took the newlyweds on a tour of Melbourne’s finest locations for their bridal photo shoot.

Nate was equally as elegant in his white tuxedo with black satin lapels and trim.

A quick gown change and Tara was ready for a traditional tea ceremony!

Crystal Palace Catering kept everyone full at the reception.
