It’s all in the detail: Amelia and Sam’s elegant classic wedding

Sometimes couples can underestimate how important suppliers are in making their big day special.

But not so for Amelia Allen and Sam Welsh. Their story highlights how quality service and products made their classic wedding a day to never forget. “We were lucky enough to have booked the most incredible vendors,” says Ameila. “From our amazing jeweller who custom-designed our engagement and weddings bands, our florist who sent me updates and progress shots the day before, to our astounding photographers.”

The Brisbane city venues selected for the ceremony and reception were both “absolutely stunning” according to the couple, both aged 26. They married at Brisbane City Hall and celebrated at The Brisbane Club. “Both venues were absolutely stunning and allowed our classic elegance theme to shine through,” smiles Amelia.

She praises entertainment by G&M DJ’s as really professional and invitations by Urban Weddings as perfect.

“Bec [from Urban Weddings] created a stunning envelope fold invitation for us. We decided on a classic black and white style which suited our theme perfectly,” describes Amelia.

The couple honeymooned in Fiji for 10 days which Amelia says was the perfect way to wind down.

“I fell in love with the applique detail,” Amelia says of her Pronovias gown.

The boys has their names embroided on the inside of their Black Jacket Suiting attire.

“The venue is such a historical and elegant building and it has just been restored to its original beauty,” Amelia says of Brisbane City Hall.
