Chay and David’s country charm wedding at Hyde House
With bespoke tailoring by Bentex Suits set to make a statement from Sydney to the Cotswolds, planning a destination-style celebration came naturally to Chay and David, who wanted a warm, three-day gathering centered on family, convenience, and great food.

The couple chose Hyde House in Stow-on-the-Wold, an all in venue that catered the event and allowed guests to relax across the property. Framed by rich autumn styling from Styletopia and fresh florals from The Stow Flower Shop, the grooms stood out in tailored brown three-piece suits by Bentex Suits Australia. Celebrant Laura Crockett officiated the ceremony inside the ceremony barn, where Chay and David opted for a unique runway aisle setup surrounded by 98 of their closest friends and family. “Laura Crockett Celebrant was so much fun and really cared about her couple’s experience, you could tell she really loves what she does,” the couple shared, noting that the vibrant, energetic exit was a major highlight.
Following the ceremony, guests moved to the gardens and central spaces for roaming canapes and drinks before entering the main dining space for a feasting style dinner. Hyde House served a menu of charcuterie boards, a classic roast dinner, and sticky toffee pudding, centered around tables capped off with a custom donut, macaron, and orange poppyseed cake. Taylar-Jayde Photography captured the candid moments across the grounds, while videographer Lee Brayshaw filmed the day. “Lee was a last minute investment, he was so easy to work with and made incredible film, it was by far our best investment,” they said. The Brass Monkeys trio provided the soundtrack, leading guests from the ceremony through to a late night dance floor.
