“Feminine and bold” is this bride’s style, and she made sure it shone through on her wedding day.
Brooke, 29, married Dave, 28, on October 12, 2018 at their romantic garden wedding at Sol Gardens, Currumbin Valley.
Brooke made sure their day was uniquely theirs, incorporating her favourite colours in the form of bold red bridesmaid dresses and flowers, and designing her own gown which was then brought to life by a local dressmaker.
Treating their guests was also a priority for the couple, and part of that was creating thoughtful favours. “New Orleans was one of our fave holiday spots so we did New Orleans hot sauce for men,” says the bride. “And, handmade by me, navy blue candles for the girls all with hand-painted name tags doubling as place cards.”
An extra special surprise was espresso martins made from an Aldi pod machine! “Everyone loved them and couldn’t believe it,” laughs Brooke.

“Budget was key to us,” explains Brooke. “Dave’s an accountant and I’m a marketing manager so we’re both used to that.”
“Dave loves horses so I surprised him for our photos,” smiles the bride.
