Alyssa and Alex’s fairytale garden celebration at Kalinya Estate

When Alyssa and Alex set out to plan their wedding, they were chasing a romantic yet luxurious garden aesthetic. The moment they stepped onto the grounds at Kalinya Estate in Bargo, New South Wales, they knew instantly they had found their location.

“The minute we stepped foot into the immaculate Kalinya Estate, we knew it was end game,” Alyssa shares. “Not only are the grounds exquisite, but Mandy is just so beautiful and accommodating I knew I wanted her to be a part of my wedding. The accommodation literally had us not wanting to leave!” Hosting 70 guests, the couple made full use of the estate’s award winning gardens and grand spaces to create a seamless, unforgettable flow from start to finish.

The outdoor ceremony took place under Kalinya Estate’s signature rotunda, framed by roses in full bloom and lush floral arrangements by Wyld Willa Rose Florals and Always Florals. Guests were seated on either side of the walkway as Alyssa walked down the aisle in a Jane Hill gown from Love Marie Bridal, while Alex and his groomsmen looked effortlessly sharp in bespoke tailoring by Lupo Bianco. The atmosphere was completed by the romantic ceremony music of Bellastrings. Celebrant Married by the Beard delivered a lighthearted, deeply personal ceremony that set a warm and joyous tone for the rest of the day.

Following the vows, guests enjoyed roaming cocktails in the gardens courtesy of Henry Clive Caravan Bar before transitioning to lounge seating outside the hall. Dinner was catered by Peppertree Catering, featuring a custom menu that earned endless compliments, alongside a showstopping three-tier cake by Applemire Cakery. As night fell, Alyssa changed into a chic reception dress by Leah da Gloria, and guests moved into the estate’s carriage house where Married by the Beard took over the DJ booth to keep the dance floor packed late into the night. Every detail, from the styling touches coordinated by Wedding and Event Creators to the peaceful luxury of staying onsite, made the day effortless. “We loved all our vendors and they truly made it such a special day,” says Alyssa.

"Kalinya's award winning gardens speak for themselves. We could have had no decorations and florals and it still spoke for itself."
