Alexandra and Chris’ effortless comfort-chic celebration at Bali Beach Glamping

Many couples we see want a destination wedding that feels like an elevated, effortless holiday. For Alexandra and Chris, achieving this balance meant leaning into a comfort-chic aesthetic that prioritised movement, ease, and a genuine party atmosphere. Because planning a wedding abroad comes with its own unique set of logistics, the couple partnered with Easy Weddings to bring their vision to life, ensuring every detail was perfectly coordinated from afar.
The couple chose a palette of sandy beige, crisp white, and deep foliage greens, accented by dusty slate blue slip dresses for the bridesmaids. To complement the coastal environment, Alexandra worked with The Pretty Parlour to create a fresh, glowing hair and makeup look. Her style paired beautifully with her 90s-inspired, strapless satin gown. Chris wore a lightweight, sandy-beige linen suit without a tie, keeping his white shirt unbuttoned at the collar for a look that was sophisticated and entirely at home on the coast. These styling choices allowed them to transition seamlessly from their emotional first look, captured on camera by the talented team at Motion House, directly into the celebrations.
Their ceremony took place on a breezy garden lawn overlooking the ocean, with Lucky Aces setting the mood with beautiful live ceremony music. The team at Flora Botanica framed the altar with massive, organic floral installations that blended into the wild coastal landscape. The ceremony, officiated by Uyun Celebrant, was a beautiful balance of humour and genuine emotion. Alexandra and Chris first met years ago while working at Event Cinemas, a history they lovingly recalled in their vows. Eight years to the day after Chris first asked Alexandra to be his girlfriend, they officially began their next chapter. As they walked back down the aisle under a shower of flower petals, the party officially began.
The celebration transitioned to an open-air, pool-adjacent reception space right on the sand, where a canopy of glowing string lights illuminated the tables. Managing a wedding in another country requires expert logistics, and the Easy Weddings team made sure the event ran smoothly behind the scenes. This included ensuring the comfort of guests travelling with young children. Alexandra and Chris booked Made Family Nannies, who provided dedicated, hands-on care so the parents could fully let their hair down and enjoy the night.
The reception was defined by heartfelt, funny speeches. Alexandra’s father drew laughs from the crowd by jokingly announcing she was one of his favourite daughters, while Chris thanked his new in-laws for making him feel like a true part of the family from day one. With a live saxophone player weaving through the crowd, champagne spraying, and guests being lifted onto shoulders, the energy stayed high until the very end. The night culminated in a spectacular, one-and-a-half-minute display by Baloon Fireworks, lighting up the Bali sky and capping off a perfect coastal celebration.
