Rich in rustic charm: A Warrawong Estate wedding for Georgia and Reece

Many couples we see describe a precise moment when they know they have found the perfect venue, and for Georgia, that feeling hit the second she and Reece pulled up to Warrawong Estate.

Envisioning a relaxed celebration set against an expansive acreage or farm landscape, the couple instantly fell in love with the venue’s sweeping outdoor spaces and beautifully clean, spacious barn. “From the moment we pulled up, my heart started beating fast and I knew that that was the place I was getting married,” Georgia says. The stunning Victorian property not only delivered on views of the surrounding hills, but it also offered the flexibility the couple desired by allowing them to bring in their own trusted team of suppliers to execute their vision.

The day began with Georgia and Reece getting ready nearby before arriving at the estate for an outdoor ceremony overlooking the fields. Following the vows, guests moved to the outdoor entertainment area to enjoy a large grazing table, drinks, and canapés by HC Catering, while the newlyweds explored the acreage for photos with Kerry Herschell Photography. The flow of the day remained seamless and relaxed as celebrations moved inside the rustic barn for the reception. Guests enjoyed an extensive cocktail style selection featuring salt and pepper calamari, traditional bruschetta, bao buns, and beef sliders, followed by a sweet finish of fresh cannoli, tarts, and vanilla cheesecake. The casual layout kept everyone socialising throughout the evening between the indoor and outdoor spaces, both complete with crackling fireplaces.

Reflecting on their wedding, Georgia highlights how effortlessly the day came together thanks to their vendor dream team. The timeless aesthetic was rounded out with classic suits from YD and beautiful arrangements by Bacchus Marsh Florist. A grand entrance in a black Rolls Royce from All About Class Car Transportation set a polished tone, whilst the culinary experience stood out as a major highlight. “HC Catering were amazing, great communicators, and the food was divine,” Georgia notes, adding that guests spent the entire night complimenting the menu. Above all, the peace of mind provided by the venue staff allowed the couple to fully immerse themselves in the celebration.
