A soft romantic celebration at Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa: Lauren & Teekas

When planning a tropical celebration, balancing relaxed coastal charm with refined elegance can feel like a tightrope walk. At Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa in Phuket, Lauren and Teekas struck that balance flawlessly, opting for a softer side of paradise defined by blush tones, classic black-tie accents, and intimate, personal details.

The couple exchanged vows against the sweeping backdrop of the Andaman Sea. The styling kept the surroundings front and centre, pairing delicate white tiffany chairs with an archway wrapped in blush roses, peach florals, and lush greenery. Lauren walked down the aisle to a piano rendition of Daylight in a sparkling A-line gown, surrounded by bridesmaids in draped, blush dresses. Teekas and his groomsmen provided a sharp, timeless contrast in black tuxedos.

Rather than rushing into formalities, the day moved seamlessly from a beachfront sand ceremony into a relaxed twilight reception at Amor the Nature. Under fairy lights strung through the palms, guests enjoyed live Pad Thai and pasta stations alongside an international buffet. Personal touches grounded the evening, from custom shot glass favours for every guest to an energetic grand entrance set to classic track throwbacks. The two-tier vanilla sponge cake was cut right as the couple entered, setting an easygoing, party-first tone for the rest of the night.

The Easy Weddings experience

Planning a destination wedding from afar can easily feel overwhelming, but Lauren and Teekas found total peace of mind through Easy Weddings. Having a structured, reliable team behind the logistics allowed them to focus entirely on enjoying their celebration rather than managing day-of stress. From coordinating overseas suppliers to locking in seamless timelines, the process felt effortlessly handled from start to finish.
