Despite getting caught in the rain while exchanging vows, Rachael and Dylan say their vintage golf club wedding happened exactly the way it was supposed to – full of love.

On October 6, 2018 the pair celebrated their coming together with a garden ceremony and reception for 80 at Redland Bay Golf Club in Queensland.

“I walked down the aisle with my legs like jelly and my father holding me up,” recalls Rachael, 32. “I looked up at the sky as it started to sprinkle, then at the love of my life waiting for me and I knew this was one of the best days of my life. Everything stood still.”

Newlyweds Rachael and Dylan, 26, advise other couples to eat enough food and to take a moment away to soak it all up. “Watch your family and friends celebrate your love.”

“We’re so blessed, we had the best wedding day we could have hoped for. It was calm, had a little rain and a lot of love.”

The Powder Room Exquisite Hair and Makeup created Rachael’s immaculate waves.

Dylan’s Roger David suit matched those of his groomsmen, with the only difference being his bowtie.

To symbolise their love, Rachael and Dylan released butterflies at their ceremony.
