A clifftop celebration at The Edge: Akira & Gopi’s Bali wedding

Perched high above the Indian Ocean in Uluwatu, The Edge provided an unforgettable setting for Akira and Gopi’s destination celebration. With panoramic water views and dramatic coastal architecture, the clifftop estate offered an open, elevated canvas for a day rooted in family, culture, and thoughtful design.

Rather than competing with the open horizon, the ceremony styling brought intimacy to the vast space. Lush, low-lying floral runners filled with rich burgundy, crimson, and deep red blooms traced the timber aisle directly toward the cliff edge. Akira wore an intricately embroidered lehenga paired with gold jewellery, while Gopi chose a tailored ivory sherwani with ruby accents.

The ceremony blended Hindu traditions with contemporary vows. Maharaj Prakesh led the traditional rituals before celebrant Andre joined the couple for their ring exchange and formal pronouncement. HeloPixel captured each moment as the afternoon sun mirrored across the venue infinity pool.

As night fell, the celebration moved outdoors beneath a wide canopy of warm fairy lights. Shivana played an acoustic set through dinner, after which DJ Miles East took over the dance floor. The menu highlighted local flavours, followed by a late-night run of cheeseburgers and scoops from Gelato Factory.
