Melbourne chauffeur service Enrik Limousines has been providing luxury wedding transport with its Chrysler limousines for almost two decades. Business founder Peter Georgiou’s winning combination for success is his communication with couples and his team’s genuine commitment to customer service.
He recently sat down with us to discuss how his business has grown and evolved over the past 15 years of partnering with Easy Weddings. He also shared his strategies for converting steady enquiries to bookings.
How Peter gets the most out of Easy Weddings
Peter’s business began in 2005 — just a year after Facebook launched.
“In the early days, SEO was a new thing, and I don’t think there was Instagram — or possibly even Facebook — back then. Back then, you couldn’t find my website, nobody knew what Enrik Limousines was or where to find us,” he says.
Listing with Easy Weddings has helped Peter’s wedding car business with online visibility and enquiries. However: “The leads coming in are the start of the process, so you’ve then got to work hard to get that booking,” he adds.
An Easy Weddings listing is an important piece of the puzzle for success in the industry, Peter explains. “But you need to have all of your pieces of the puzzle. You can’t sit back and expect that all the leads that are coming in are going to book.”
After receiving an enquiry through Easy Weddings, he responds quickly with an email.
“We might follow that up with an SMS just letting them know we have received their email and to perhaps look in their spam or junk folder if they haven’t seen a response from us. We also have an automated system which will send them a follow-up email about five days later.”
Enrik Limousines has clocked up more than 200 reviews on its Easy Weddings storefront alone, maintaining a 5-star rating. Combine those with Google and Facebook reviews, and that’s around 1,000 reviews across the board.
“Reviews, over the last five years, have become so important as a research tool for couples. It’s a significant part of our success. It adds to your credibility, and it adds to your branding,” Peter says.
All the hard work is paying off. The Enrik Limousines listing on Easy Weddings has received more than 23,000 views over the past year, with 17% of those who clicked the listing going on to make an enquiry with the business.
By June 2022, Peter estimated his chauffeur business had already received about 300 bookings for the year, with six months ahead to service many more events. With at least 20% of his bookings coming from Easy Weddings, his listing is generating a 23x Return on Investment so far this year.
Maintaining success in a competitive market
Commitment to customer service is what sets Enrik Limousines apart from competitors in its category.
“We’re passionate about what we do and we love what we do, and I think that stands out. We have a great team of chauffeurs who are really keen to make sure that everything they do on the wedding day is for the couple,” Peter says.
“We’re not a car business, we’re a wedding business. A lot of people think we’re a wedding car business, but the wedding industry is all about people.
“If you’re not passionate about people and people’s wedding day, and being surrounded by a lot of happiness, and love and laughter, then you’re probably in the wrong business. The cars are just a means to provide a service for us. It’s all about the service, for us.”
In the past five years or so, Peter has seen a noticeable increase in the number of wedding car businesses entering the wedding car business – offering not only limousines, but hot rods, classic cars, and Mustangs too. He and his team have worked hard to maintain its success in a competitive market.
“Customer service is the most important consideration. It’s not just saying it, it’s about doing it and being passionate about it. It’s probably one of the things that sets us apart from our competitors in a competitive industry.”
Networking with other wedding industry suppliers is another key way to generate recommendations and secure bookings.
“We’ve been around for about 18 years, so we’ve built a strong reputation with a lot of different suppliers in the wedding industry — whether it be venues, celebrants or photographers,” Peter adds.
When couples enquire with Peter, he always asks about their other suppliers, so he can promote any existing relationships he has with those businesses. Building credibility and reassurance is a proven way he has converted those enquiries into bookings.
On top of all that, Peter recommends continuing to fine-tune processes and staying on top of emerging trends. He also suggests speaking with your Easy Weddings Account Manager often, to learn what images and other components of your storefront are working, and what might be improved.
