Yvonne and Luke’s Sydney celebration

With just three months to pull it all together — and their second anniversary as the perfect date — wedding planning kicked into high gear for Sydneysiders Yvonne and Luke.

The day of celebration kicked off with a registry wedding and finished with a reception and celebration at Crown Towers Sydney.

For the showstopping wedding dress, Yvonne went to Bridal Secrets, who were able to turn around the dream dress within the tight timeline.

“They offered a wide selection of beautiful gowns and accessories, helping me find the perfect style even with a short lead time for my order. Despite the tight timeline, everything was delivered on schedule without compromise on quality.” Yvonne explains.

“I’m so grateful for their professionalism and dedication. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience,” she finishes.

To capture the whole day for a lifetime of memories, Yvonne and Luke put their trust in the team at RISS Production.

“Patient, attentive, and tireless in capturing every special moment, ensuring nothing was missed from start to finish,” the happy couple explains. “What we appreciated most was their effort to include our family and friends in the memories, making sure our guests were also captured throughout the day.”

Music brings celebrations to life, and for these newlyweds, Rosemont Strings were tasked with that very role. And, it was perfect. Creating an atmosphere that was exactly what the couple wanted: elegant, joyful, and heartfelt, it was Rosemont Strings who elevated the couple’s entire celebration.

“Our guests love it too, so many commented on how wonderful the music was and how it added to the magic of the day,” Yvonne says. “We couldn’t be happier with their professionalism, talent, and dedication.”

Bringing her entire look to life, Yvonne needed a bit of a glam squad on hand. And Inspiring Hair and Makeup did exactly that. So much so, that Yvonne refers to Lana from the team at Inspiring Hair and Makeup as “an absolute gift throughout my wedding journey.”

Starting with a trial, Lana was on hand all the way up to final adjustments on the wedding day, creating a flawless look that popped in person and in photographs. It captured the elegance that Yvonne had been hoping for.

“Most impressively, it lasted the entire day and night,” Yvonne explains of her wedding makeup. “Through all the celebrations, emotions, and dancing – no major touch-ups were needed.”

No wedding is complete without the signature ‘first dance’ from the happy couple. Yvonne and Luke left nothing up to chance, and turned to the experts at Shane Keri Dance to bring this moment to life with a choreographed dance tailored to their style, their skill, and their confidence.

“Their professionalism, attention to detail, and supportive teaching approach turned what could have been a stressful part of wedding prep into something memorable,” recounts Yvonne. “By the time our big day arrived, we truly enjoyed sharing our first dance.”

Every wedding needs a showstopping moment, and with Sydney Fireworks and Pyrotechnics, they could have this moment during the first dance. Named the “dancing on a cloud” effect, the first dance was complemented by indoor spark fountains which created a stunning and safe wow-moment.

“The team was professional from start to finish, quick to respond, clear with details, and meticulous about safety and venue requirements,” Yvonne says of the beautiful display.

Carrying on with the moments that bring magic, the couple’s wedding cake from Greenberg & Co Cakes was elegant and beautifully crafted. It ticked both boxes needed with a wedding cake: looking stunning and tasting delicious.

 “We are so grateful for their support, responsiveness, and creativity in making our wedding cake such a highlight of the day,” Yvonne left in her review for the cake makers.

Styling your wedding day can feel overwhelming, and with only three months lead time to create their dream look, Yvonne and Luke leant on the talents of Flowers and Styling by Felicia to bring the florals to life.

“Our florist was absolutely amazing in bringing our wedding vision to life,” Yvonne says. “From the very beginning, they guided us through the creation of our moodboard, carefully curating a colour palette and floral style that perfectly reflected what we had envisioned.” 

Even when it came to last-minute adjustments, the couple were met with ease and were always ensured that everything was going to look perfect on the day – and it did. Fresh, beautifully arranged, and an atmosphere of celebration.

HF Wedding & Hire Cars provided Yvonne and Luke with the showstopping Maserati used in the backdrop of their wedding photos, and was used for pick-up and drop off.

“The driver was not only professional but also accommodating of our requests during the wedding day, which made the experience even more special.”

An intimate ceremony at a registry office is where Yvonne and Luke exchanged vows, and then moved on to Crown Towers for an unforgettable celebration. Here, the team went above and beyond to make the couple feel comfortable, and provided thoughtful amenities – it was the small details along the way that brought everything together and made for a truly joyful day.

Bringing the entire day together, Yvonne and Luke couldn’t have done it without the services of The Wedding Assistant. Doubling as the wedding coordinator and the MC on the day, Freni was with the couple from the very beginning of their wedding journey, going above and beyond her role.

A well-deserved break was needed after the whirlwind wedding planning, achieving so much in just three months. The happy couple honeymooned in the bride’s home country of the Phillipines, where Luke met his new extended family.
