What do couples love most about hosting their wedding at The Beachcomber Hotel & Resort?
Our couples love the convenience of hosting their entire wedding day in one place, from the ceremony and photos to the reception and overnight accommodation. We have 83 spacious resort-style rooms onsite, meaning that guests can stay at the hotel and won’t have to worry about travelling to their accommodations after the wedding.
What are some of the standout features of the recent refurbishment at The Beachcomber?
The whole property has been completely refurbished, including the hotel rooms, function spaces, and multiple bars and eateries. A standout feature post-reno would be our light-filled function room, restaurant, and beautiful pool area.
How far in advance do you recommend booking a wedding venue?
The Beachcomber is a fairly new venue, so we still have some availability for 2023 weddings. However, it is starting to fill up, so we would recommend booking at least 12 months in advance if you have a specific wedding date in mind.
Can you walk us through some of the beautiful photo opportunities at the venue?
Our stunning waterfront location means we have endless opportunities for wedding photography right on our doorstep! The jetty is a favourite for all of our couples, as well as anywhere along the water, by the pool, or out the front of the venue.
How do your in-house wedding coordinators assist couples with their wedding planning?
We are there from start to finish and help couples with organising all aspects of the day. When the wedding day comes, we provide that on-the-day point of contact should they need anything. This helps to ensure everything runs smoothly for a stress-free, seamless, and memorable wedding experience!
What catering options do you offer for weddings?
Our delicious catering menus can be tailored to suit each wedding, with plenty of options to accommodate all tastes and budgets. Dining styles include shared feasting menus designed to be placed in the middle of the table, classic alternate drop meals, and delicious bite-sized canapés. If couples are looking to really wow their guests, we can also organise live food stations piled high with fresh seafood, mouthwatering charcuterie, indulgent desserts, and more!
Do you work with specific suppliers, or can couples use their own wedding vendors?
We do have venue-preferred suppliers that we love to work with, as they know the property well, and we can always rely on them. Alternatively, couples are more than welcome to bring in their own vendors to bring their dream day to life.
