Modern Family’s sweetheart vixen Sofia Vergara is set to wed Magic Mike heartthrob Joe Manganiello this weekend in a lavish beach-side ceremony.
Sofia. 43, and Joe, 38, will exchange vows at the historic Breakers Palm Beach resort in Florida and the bride will be walked down the aisle by her 23-year-old son Manolo Gonzalez-Vergara.
About 300 guests will attend the evening ceremony which is expected to take place in the grounds of the Italian-Renaissance inspired venue, which is famous for its sweeping oceanfront views.
“We’re not doing anything crazy,” the Colombian-born actress told American talk show host Jimmy Kimmel. “We’re doing a traditional wedding. The one difference that we don’t have, for example, [are] bridesmaids – we only have flower girls and a ring boy.”
This will be Vergara’s second marriage. She wed her high-school sweetheart, Joe Gonzalez, in a traditional Catholic wedding ceremony in her hometown of Barranquilla in the early ’90s when she was just 18. It will be Joe’s first marriage.

According to the celebrity couple’s simple yet elegant gold embossed wedding invitations, they don’t want wedding gifts but are, instead, asking that donations be made to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

The busy couple enlisted the help of Beverly Hills-based event planner Mindy Weiss, who is behind other celebrity weddings, including those of Fergie and Josh Duhamel; Ellen Degeneres and Portia Rossi, as well as Joe’s Magic Mike co-star Channing Tatum’s nuptials.
Sofia, whose highly polished red carpet looks always steal the show, is guaranteed to be a stunning bride – and we can’t wait to see what she’ll wear on her big day.
The actress has recruited Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad to create her gown, and her penchant for figure-hugging, mermaid-inspired shapes could be an indication of her wedding day look.
Sofia told People magazine, “I want to look sexy.
“I want to look great. I want to look good and (wear) something that I know is going to look good in pictures.”
And we have no doubt she will look amazing!
