Calling all Perth brides (and grooms)! Be sure to keep Sunday, May 22 (2016) free because Rendezvous Hotel Perth Scarborough is holding the ultimate wedding planning party.
The free event, which runs between 11am and 4pm, will showcase Rendezvous Hotel Perth Scarborough‘s gorgeous and contemporary wedding spaces as well as their suites:
– the 680-person Grand Ballroom;
– the Mentelle Deck and Preston reception rooms;
– the Kitson, which overlooks the Indian Ocean and is perfect for small, intimate wedidngs;
– the Observeation Deck, which offers 180-degree views of the coast from Fremantle to Joondalup.
It will also play host to dozens of Western Australia’s finest vendors, allowing Perth couples to, in theory, arrange their entire wedding in one spot, under one roof, in one day – and parking on The Esplanade is free!
Among the exhibitors will be a range of photographers, wedding cake makers and florists, as well as, of course, wedding dresses galore.
But the wedding fashion on show won’t be confined only to the brides. On show will also be bridal fashion for every member of the bridal party, including the youngest members: flower girls and page boys, as well as the oldest: the bridal couple’s parents (and grandparents).
Between interactive workshops (yep, they’re even going to show you how to get fit and achieve your ideal bridal body), visitors can enjoy canapes and a range of cheese and wines – all while being serenaded by live music from some of WA’s top wedding entertainers.
Oh, and for the blokes who don’t want to partake in the wedding planning fun, they can enjoy Rendezvous Hotel Perth Scarborough‘s Man Cave, which is chock full of non-wedding related fun, including arcade games and a round of indoor footy.
But only after they’ve taken part in the first dance workshop, where an experienced dance teacher will walk them through a basic bridal dance, of course.
Attendees who participate in a super-fun competition on the day will also go into the running to win a $15,000 wedding package that includes a three-night honeymoon stay at the Rendezvous Hotel in Singapore, as well as vouchers for a wedding dress and groom’s outfit.
And, if you’re still tossing up whether or not to attend, for those participating in the HBF Run for a Reason fun run, turn up in your shirt and you’ll score one free drink per person wearing the shirt.
