The honest answer is that "a wedding video" usually isn't one thing, it's a couple of different edits that do different jobs. Most couples end up with a short highlight film, generally around three to six minutes set to music, which is the one you'll actually rewatch and send around to family. Then there's the longer edit that runs anywhere from twenty minutes up to an hour or more, holding the full ceremony, the speeches and the formalities so nothing important is lost. The big variable is your day itself: a long ceremony and four speeches will naturally give you a longer film than a quick courthouse and one toast.

My tip when you're comparing videographers is to look past the advertised minutes and actually watch a few of their full highlight films start to finish. A tight five minute film that's been thoughtfully cut will move you far more than a twenty minute one that drags, and length on a brochure tells you almost nothing about whether the edit has heart.

One thing worth asking each studio directly is who edits your footage, because that's where the real difference lives. We edit every wedding in-house ourselves rather than sending it offshore, so the person cutting your film is the same team who was there feeling the room on the day. Decide what you'll genuinely use too: most couples watch the highlight constantly and the long edit once or twice, so pick the package that gives you a highlight you love and the full ceremony kept safe.

Hello :)

Depend on what style of wedding video you prefer -

All my video package options include an option to have all raw footage - in case you want to edit yourself / view it later.

However, generally my video package includes 1 x long edit to watch - about 1-2hrs (all speeches etc) & 1 short 15-20 min "trailer" or highlight with music etc for viewing and sharing with guests.

However, every client and bride is different, therefore I prefer to bespoke my package options based on my clients wishes :)

Every wedding we film is unique, so the length of your film is shaped by your day. As a guide, our cinematic highlight films are usually around 5–8 minutes – perfect for sharing with family and friends – and your full ‘FOMO edit’ (the big, everything-in edit) can run anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on your ceremony, speeches and all the moments you’ve planned. Rather than aiming for a set time, you can choose from one of our tailored packages and from there we focus on weaving your story together so it feels timeless and true to you.

Hi! Each video can range from 30 seconds - 5+ minutes! These lengths vary depending on how many hours I am booked throughout the day and if there are certain videos you'd like me to recreate for you. Cheers!

Great question!

Short answer, it depends on the vendor and what they offer! Some offer "documentary" edits where all video clips are put together into a long form video showing your special day from start to end these can bean hour or more in length.

Some do a higlight film which is under 10 mins with music, vows and the key parts of the day.

Some will film the ceremony and speeches. And some will do a mix of all the above!

Talk to a bunch of vendors and look at their offerings and examples. That way you can find what best suits you!

That's a great question!

Your MP4 movie is anything from 30 mins (our silver package) to 90 minutes all depending on the package booked and how long things run for.

It's certainly never a 10 minute USB or a short iPhone content creation.

Thanks for the question ??

For Videography, you'll receive an edited live footage which will go for about 3hr-4hr duration with all the formalities depending on the package that you choose, you definitely will receive the full ceremony, reception like the bridal entrance, cake cutting, bridal dance and speeches etc...
also a 4-5min video highlight with your choice of music. The editing team will send you the links when it's ready and you can share with your family friends.
