Expert Advice

As a wedding professional, 3XO VIRTUAL REALITY VIDEOGRAPHY offers expert advice to help couples plan their perfect day. Ask a question or read their expert advice.

Is it possible just to rent a video camera to set up and leave stationary for the ceremony?

At 3XO Virtual Reality, our cameras are actually stationary and are only slightly adjusted through out the ceremony by our talented film crew when needed.

Being the only company in Australia that film weddings using our state of the art technology, we are able to capture your wedding from every angle. It's because of this technology that we can give you the opportunity to relive your wedding day over and over again using virtual reality.

I hope this helps, and if you do have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Happy Planning!

Why should I get a videographer if I'm already having a photographer?

I'm on the fence about videography and need that extra push. Can you tell me why I should have both a photographer and a videographer at my wedding?

Hi Cindy!

Having a photographer and videographer allows your special day to be captured from two different perspectives.

Still images are great to be framed, or put in an album, but being able to watch your wedding day all over again, listen to your vows, speeches, first dance and everything that made your day unique and fun is an amazing opportunity. A lot of brides do say they regret not having a videographer on the day and this is why.

Your wedding day goes by so fast, having a video will allow you to relive the special moments all over again and bring back all the feelings and emotions you went through. Watching your husbands reaction when you walk down the aisle, sharing it with family and friends - it's like your own personal time capsule!

Hope this helps make your decision easier.

How long should it typically take for a videographer to return the final product?

My sister got married two years ago, and it took almost 6 months for her videographer to return the video of her wedding. I want a videographer at my wedding, but I'm scared it'll take the same amount of time to come back. Is 6 months normal to wait for your wedding video?

Hi Louisa,

I do believe that 6 months is definitely too long, even during a busy period.

I know that our editing process takes no longer than 4 weeks maximum, even when using our specialised 360 degree cameras for our virtual reality filming.

Hope this gives you a clearer insight and helps in making your decision for your special day.

Theresa
