My name is Dave Rothwell. I'm a wedding videographer for couples who don't want to pose or script anything. I let the day unfold naturally and go about filming usually without being noticed. I want to respect the environment of a wedding day, for both you and your guests. It's always a pleasure getting to know my couples, hearing their stories and capturing their day. Each time the story is completely unique and I can't wait to tell yours.

Highlights - A beautifully crafted selection of the very best moments from your day. Running for approximately 5 minutes, it includes hand picked highlights, ensuring you can re-live those extra special moments.
Feature - Running for approximately 15 minutes, the feature film is crafted in the same style as the highlights film but has a longer running time. This allows me to expand on the highlights film and showcase an entire day of memories.
(The highlights and feature films are hand crafted with high production values, professional editing, colour grading and have a natural narrative style.)
Ceremony & Speeches - Documentary style films that capture all the details of your formalities as they happened.
A 25% deposit of your total price is all that is required and that reserves me for your special day.
When you book me I'm yours for the day. I'll be there to capture all of the detail to make sure I can produce a set of films that accurately reflect your day. No time limits, I simply leave when I'm certain that I have everything I need to make you a perfect set of films.
I'm based in Perth but will happily travel across Australia and abroad to capture your special day. If your day is going to take place within Perth and the South West then all travel costs are covered in the Essentials service. If you are getting married further afield there may be an additional fee to cover travel and accommodation.
I like everything to be as natural and relaxed as possible. I do my best at staying unobtrusive to you and your guests. A skilled wedding videographer, for the most part, will generally remain unseen during the day.
Certainly. I offer drone footage as an extra to the Essential service. A drone is the perfect way to create stunning shots of your venue and the surrounding landscapes.
Of course! I hold full public liability insurance to cover against any potential accidents.
The music is handpicked to suit the feel and pace of your day and is selected to be perfectly paired with your footage. The music is sourced from specialised licensed music websites. I enjoy finding songs that couples will love as well as discovering unique and original songs that give a personal feel to each film. Unfortunately, due to copyright laws I cannot use songs released by commercial artists.
